This policy explains what information Yuzuu collects, how it’s used to plan your goal, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Information you give us

Account details. Your email address and password if you sign up with email (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored by us in readable form). If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the email address and, if you choose to share it, the name from that account. Apple may give us a private relay email instead of your real one.
Your name, if you add or edit it in your profile.
Your goal. What you type when you describe your goal, and your answers to the follow-up questions (for example your experience level, how much time you have, how often you can practise and what success looks like).
Your daily activity. Which tasks you complete, skip or postpone, how long they took, and any ratings or feedback you give.

Information created when you use Yuzuu

The refined goal, strategy, roadmap, milestones and daily tasks that Yuzuu writes for you, including a short note on why each task was chosen.
Your progress: completion history, streak and goal progress.
Planning settings such as your time zone, so tasks land on the right day.

On your device

The app keeps a copy of your current goal, tasks and progress on your iPhone so it opens instantly and works offline. This copy is cleared when you sign out or delete your account.

On this website

If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Like any website, our hosting provider [CONFIRM HOSTING PROVIDER] may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep them secure.

How AI uses your information

Yuzuu uses an AI model to write your plan. In plain terms:

When you create a goal, your goal description and your answers are sent to an AI model to write your questions, then your refined goal, strategy and roadmap.
Once a day, to plan that day’s tasks, our server sends the AI model your goal, strategy, roadmap and current milestone, your answers and planning settings (time zone, time available, experience level), your activity from the last 14 days (task titles, whether they were done, skipped or postponed, ratings and feedback), your streak, how long tasks took compared with their estimates, and how many days are left.

The AI service is provided by a third party: [CONFIRM AI PROVIDER(S) AND THEIR DATA-RETENTION AND TRAINING TERMS]. We don’t send your email address, name or password to the AI model. Please don’t include sensitive information (such as health or financial details) in your goal unless you’re comfortable with it being processed this way.

AI-written plans can be wrong or unsuitable. They’re suggestions to help you make progress, not professional advice.

How we use your information

To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
To build your plan and choose each day’s tasks.
To show your progress, streak and calendar.
To answer you when you contact support.
To email you about Yuzuu’s launch, if you joined the waitlist.
To keep Yuzuu secure and working properly, and to meet legal obligations.

Storage and security

Your data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our database is set up so that each account can only read and change its own goals, plans and progress. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can access it.

How long we keep it

Your account and plan: for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your account and all of your goals, plans, tasks and progress are deleted from our live database straight away.

Your choices and rights

Delete your account any time in the app: Settings → Profile → Delete account. How account deletion works.
Update your name in Settings → Profile.

Children

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we’ll also let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
