Delete your Yuzuu account

It takes less than a minute, right inside the app. Here’s how, and exactly what happens to your data.

Delete your account in the app

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside Yuzuu:

  1. Open Yuzuu and go to your Home screen.
  2. Tap the gear icon at the top right to open Settings.
  3. Tap Profile.
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm by tapping Delete.

You’ll need to be connected to the internet. Once it’s done, you’ll be signed out and taken back to the start screen.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account is permanent and can’t be undone. It removes:

  • your account and sign-in details;
  • your goal, strategy, roadmap and milestones;
  • your daily tasks, completions, ratings and feedback;
  • your progress and streak history;
  • the copy of your data stored on your iPhone.

These are removed from our live database as soon as you confirm.

What may remain for a while

  • Copies in our database backups, for up to [CONFIRM DATA RETENTION PERIOD], after which they’re overwritten.
  • Requests already sent to our AI provider to write your plan, which are handled under their terms. [CONFIRM AI PROVIDER RETENTION]
  • If you joined the website waitlist, that email address is stored separately from your account. Email [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL] to be removed.
  • If you used Sign in with Apple, you can also stop using your Apple ID with Yuzuu in your iPhone’s Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.

Can’t access the app?

If you’ve removed Yuzuu or can’t sign in, email [CONTACT EMAIL] from the address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. [CONFIRM MANUAL DELETION PROCESS AND TIMEFRAME]
